Roof graphics are a great addition to your
Mini, there are decals available for roofs of any colour.
Providing you purchase a good quality vinyl graphic, just take
your time, follow the fitting instructions and the end results
will be stunning. Inferior graphics will not fit very well and
fade, costing you more in the long run and they just won't look
as good. Here's an example of how to fit the one piece oCoop
union jack "ok" hand graphic. Multiple piece graphics follow the
same fitting process.
How To Fit
1. Wash and dry the roof of your Mini to ensure it is free
from dust and dirt.
2. Lay the graphic in the desired position on the roof of
the Mini, use a little masking tape to hold it in position.
3. Apply some masking tape underneath the edges of the rood
decal.
4. Draw guide lines around the edge of the graphic onto the
masking tape.
5. Turn the graphic over and slowly remove the backing to
reveal the sticky side of the graphic.
6. Fill a spray container with water and a touch of washing
up liquid.
7. Spray the solution onto the sticky side of the graphic,
this enables you to move the graphic around when lining it up on
the roof.
8. Turn the decal back over and align it up with the guide
lines on the masking tape. Use the supplied applicator to smooth
the graphic onto the roof.
9. Wait 30 minutes for the solution to dissolve and slowly
remove the applicator paper.
10. If you have any air bubbles, pick them with a pin to
remove the air and you've finished!
