INTERIOR MIRROR GRAPHICS...

The rear view mirror of a Mini looks great when wrapped with a patriotic union jack or a chequered flag decal. The decals are made from 10 year cast vinyl with a matching high quality laminate. This type of vinyl can be heated and stretched to fit the awkward shape of a rear view mirror. The same vinyl is used to wrap entire vehicles.
Fitting the graphic to a Mini's interior mirror requires patience. Due to the varying shapes of mirrors the vinyl has to be trimmed to fit the mirror. The effort is well worth it as the end result is superb. The trick is to go slowly, stop when the vinyl might crease, apply heat and stretch the vinyl to remove the creases. See below for a step by step guide.

Note: We cannot be held responsible for failed attempts to fit these decals. Take your time so that you don't ruin the decal or break your mirror.

How To Fit

1. Remove the rear view mirror from the car. Ensure the mirror is clean, dry and grease free.
2. Carefully remove the mirror from the windscreen holder. Alternatively to avoid the possibility of breaking the mirror cut a small slit in the graphic.
3. Remove the decal from the backing paper.

4. Lay the vinyl centrally on the mirror. Use your fingers to press the decal onto the surface of the rear of the mirror. Take your time and continue until the decal cannot be fitted without creasing.
5. Gently warm the vinyl with a hair dryer, do not use too much heat or the decal could be ruined. Take your time and proceed slowly. When the vinyl is heated pull it taught and stretch out any creases. Carry on heating and rubbing the decal onto the mirror bit by bit.
6. Once the mirror is wrapped, use a craft knife to trim off the excess vinyl.
