You can jazz up the mirrors on your Mini
with a set of chequered flag mirror decals. The chequered decals
are available in black (which are intended for white mirrors) or
white (which are intended for non white mirrors). Decals are
also available in other designs such as union jack flags and
targets.
How To Fit
1. It is advisable to remove the door mirror from the car to
ease the fitting process. Clean and dry each mirror. Lay the
first decal face down on a clean flat surface. Slowly peal away
the backing paper to reveal the sticky side of the graphic.
2. Spray the sticky side of the decal with a solution of
washing up liquid and clear water ( 1 to 100 ratio). This eases
the application process.
3. The decal is now ready to be applied to the mirror.
4. Slowly apply the decal to the mirror and rub down with a
cloth. Take care not to cause any creases in the graphic.
5. Wait a while, and slowly peel off the application paper
that covers the graphic.
6. If you have any air bubbles, prick them with a pin. The
first mirror
is now complete and ready to be fixed back on your Mini. Repeat
the same process for the other mirror.
